Julie began her creative journey as a surface pattern designer creating artwork for the textile, stationery and home markets.
She has illustrated 3 books in her signature collage style, created a textile collection (with more to come) and has licensed her artwork internationally to such companies as:
Random House Publishing, Hallmark, World Market, Trader Joe’s, Crocs, Lilipinso Children’s and Design Design - bringing her art into everyday spaces around the world.
She began teaching in 2020 and has enjoyed sharing her distinctive mixed media language - one that blends drawing, paint, collage and mark-making into expressive studies inspired by the natural world. Her journey has unfolded slowly and intuitively, shaped by years of observation and experimentation. This way of working has become her artistic signature and the foundation for her teaching.
Through her licensing, workshops and ongoing practice, Julie has inspired countless artists to reconnect with their intuition and build a visual vocabulary that feels meanig
Her future path involves showing her larger art in a gallery and working towards publishing her first creative book.
