Sketchbook Explorations

My favorite part of my creative journal is the uncertainty of who and what will show up to the party. A certain color or line will spark off a whole array of other thoughts and ideas. Often a page will sit for weeks with just one thought patiently waiting for inspiration.

Its a place to try on new ideas. Certain color combinations, a texture I have been meaning to try. Line work (a.k.a doodling) is always present and an easy go to when time is tight or when I find myself with a few minutes to myself.

It’s a place where anything goes. It doesn’t have to make sense. It’s only requirement is to bring me joy, inspiration and a place to call my own.
